    Hi Edorta

Thanks for the comments ...appreciate you looking in ....

Ahh!!! the lacework well its all done and actually looks good ..might do some high points in a varnish the pics make the lace work look more white but it's not in reality !!!! ....but of course all suggestions ( apart from stripping everything ...lol ) are welcome.

Lacework painted using Paynes gray , and various shades of gray and whites !!!...oh it sounds so easy ...not !!!

Here some latest pictures .....working on the leather belt, then the belt plate then the buttons and then the horsehair crest ( Oh how I wish it wasn't white!!!...finally it will be the plume ..going for a brighter blue on this ....

then off to finish Lt Cairns ready for Euro Expo

    Thanks for looking in

    Hi Mick

Thanks for comment ...as always my stuff looks better in reality ......from about a km away !!......as I said it's a difficult piece to paint ( with so much blue and white/silver ) ..well for me at least !

Nearly finished belt , then a brass buckle and silvered belt plate ...then it's that horse hair ....
