This may take some time, I have dug out my files and some extra fine wire wool and cleaned this one up. Now he has been primed with Corax white from Citadel.
I have made a start on the bicorne and the face. I have finished the back pack and this will be attached at a later date.
Thats all for now, be back sort of......... soonish.

Great start Bob. This is a cracker of a figure. So I kick myself for not asking about his one at Expo last month since First Legion had a table in the vendor's room.

    Hi Bob.
Looking forward to the stripes on the trousers,
What colour will they be Blue or a nice shade of Pink.
    Bring back tartan.

On a serious note any one know why the two different
    colours on the trousers.

If my memory serves me correctly they were made from ticking material https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ticking
So whatever colour was available would have sufficed.

    Thanks for looking in,
Thanks Al, for the confidence in my painting.
Mick, they may well be plain white but the red or blue were the colours of the revolution and soldiers lbeing soldiers loved nothing better than to show a bit of defiance regarding uniform regs.
Chris, Its a cracker alright or a corker dependant on which side of the world you reside.
    Billy, cheers

Thank you very much for your input everyone.
