Nice, and a great idea. Just wish they has went with the twin vickers guns instead of the 50 cal. They just seem more...LRDG-ish.

    Hi Guys

Thanks for sharing this a nce addition , not sure about monkey ..no matter how cute and I definately agree with Jason's comments ref the twin Vickers

Saying that the .50 looks good

Another thought to have had him bare headed or with a beret with sand goggles hanging round the neck and no beard ...stubble ...just my thoughts !

As Mike says this will fly off the shelves and no doubt pairings will be seen

    Thanks for sharing

Great looking kit, but a tip, the .50 Cal needs cocking studs

    Great looking bust.
That 50 cal makes it for me.

Very nice indeed, might be a good idea if the monkey is removable in my opinion.

Probably has to be, I doubt they could easily cast it in place.

Perhaps Vickers K from Steve Reddees in 1/10th?
I'm up for Kiwi LRDG Version as Kev suggests, they actually wore same headgear ;-)

Agree that the monkey needs to go and would be better with Twin Vickers, still very good though.

Seems to be an obsession with Monkeys or some other creature on shoulders at the moment.

    Cheers

Nice figure. Didn't know that monkeys existed in the North African desert (they don't), so that is kinda "random," I guess an attempt to make figure "cute?"

A tremendous and imaginative piece but the monkey just doesn't 'cut it' as, say, the spaniel did in the Life Miniatures "The Few" bust. Maybe it's better with paint on but in the picture unpainted, it looks more like 'Gizmo' than any real monkey I have ever seen!

Monkey is a "cute" add-on but doesn't look realistic. Impressive piece otherwise. Wish someone could get an accurate likeness to the 6 blokes in this famous photo. Amazing group.
