    You're quite right the armour should be a highlight of this bust......look at Rubens painting......on the bust it looks as if its been painted with a broomstick. Face is a different matter although I personally think the mouth is overdone.

    Nothing like some good old fashioned honest critique. I would agree with the above. I would also add, that I would like to see the upper arms more relaxed and not so tight to the sides. I see this often and it gives me the impression that his arms are behind his back and in some cases "a tied to the stake look"....But hey; that's just my opinion and overall this looks like another excellent piece sculpture.
