I hope both will be commercial produced by BAM (Black Army Models). You can see that the private is not finished yet, but the main point is that the czapka and head are fitting to both torsos, so for the cost of printing and casting of one and a half bust, we should get two different busts.
But the last word has BAM-s production director, so I cant say anything for sure yet...

Recently BAM produced one of my digital busts - and I can say for myself - I like what they did - it is not Yet published, but You will see it soon I hope...

Anyway, thanks for the kind words guys :)

    Regards !

Whistle, pistol holster buckle and started to add some smaller details to the coat...
Did not do much as I took my children to watch "Ghost in the shell" movie - first things first :)

BTW: what is general opinion about that "classical" presentation of the eyes with pupils recessed (holes). Is it better to leave the eyes smooth and round ???

    Hi there

Looking good , love the whistle addition ....are you adding any medals perhaps ?

Regarding the eyes personally I am not keen as holes ..I would fill anyway ! ...full eyes makes painting easier IMO ...talking of this ...is the peak going to be separate when it's commercial ...hope so !

    Great to follow this

    Thanks Nap for the info.
BAM decided to produce both and even I got permission to do another younger head for the private - to create some more difference between those two versions.
The problem with medals is as always historical accuracy - I have some collection of images but nowhere medals that can be recognized.

That looks super, hope you do have success with this, and really hope that the Austro-Hungarian you did will eventually become reality.

About the whistle, I'm not familiar with the history, but is it the correct type? Am thinking the American doughboys introduced that type, but could be wrong.

I'm thinking perhaps their design would be influenced either by Germany or Russia - something like this maybe?

    Yes the whistle :)
It was confusing to me too as this one looks more like British trench whistle, but that is what I see on main ref image:

Have no idea, how BAM will do it - I will only pay attention that both heads fit to both torsos and one czapka - any combination is possible :)
For the medals; I 'll try to find ref images afternoon...

It will, it already got some "facelift" as I learned some things meanwhile, but uniform and face need more improvements.
Good thing is that I have all the medals, insignia etc. (time consuming things) already finished, so it is only matter of time :)

I have browsed all my reference images, and neither one has any medals for lower ranks.
I have few images of Zaruski, but I think they all are post-war and he is not lower rank, so I do not think any of those medals would be applicable.

Also found this page, but again, have no idea what can I put or where :)
