PEGASO doesn´t need presentation, for he´s beeeing a leader in figures making for years. I must say that I personally admire that the company was able to keep the same high level through the years, also was able to inovate and give us a diferent range of scales and subjects allways interresting.

My Review relies upon the (brilliant) new range of MiniBusts. For the less atentive this line is not more than re-launching of 90 mm Figures, but cuted to made of them a bust or bether Mini Bust.

Many of this figures are revised or modiffied as our subject, taht is based upon the 90mm 90-032 GLADIATORE ROMANO THRAEX.

Those are Helmet parts, as allways with PEGASO, a minimum to clean, and a small part from the branch of mould injection, that we can take out easily.
    DSC02589.JPG

The feathers and plumes from the helmet, again injection lines, but nothing special...

The body, and PEGASO smartly provided a support for the Busts, so if are willing to colect them thay wil all look the same on the suport

other views, again a mould line, not complicated

Provisory assembling of all figure, with blue tack

Nice figure. But laminations on the Manica should run up the arm so a sword will slide. The way it is models a weapon will be channeled into the arm. A very common mistake made by sculptors and artists.

I've made about twenty manicas full sized.

Thanks for reporting, but I don't get it . Why all the praise ? The quality is just standard for a 54mm of the 70ies ....

In my Humble opinion, those who paint know that some thimes our personnal life doesn´t left many time for hobby.
That´s why I think this is a great idea. My point of view, it´s a quik made figure (half of/what ever) you don´t need do do ground work, everybody likes of 90mm figures, although they are expensive, so you can have a sheaper one and with all quality, so you can pratice and when you are confortable and have time you can invest in a full 90mm figure and make a masterpiece.
The best, for me, is that you can paint it in a weekend or in a week softly, so you don´t have a excuse that you don´t have time.

    Be happy guys, enjoy painting
