If you have an old scroll saw (or can get one cheap), they make a great shaker for the 17ml bottles:

Probably not wise to try one of the above contraptions for the "other hobby" Carl. :D

I found this to be a good investment. Lifes too short to shake paint.

I also thought about that, but I couldnt find any cheap one as it is lab equipment, usually with very high prices! Did you find any affordable option? Thanks!

With you 100% Bob, shaking is for paint and beer is for drinking.

Unless you're playing "The Beer Hunter", a form of Russian roulette. It's played as follows: Take a bottle or can of beer, shake it vigorously, then place it back in the bunch with other bottles or cans. Each player draws a beer and opens it, till someone gets a shower. Fine fun in the dorm on a late Friday evening.

Or, if you're drinking a proper Hefeweizen, though it's not really a shake to get the yeast off the bottom, it's more of a roll or swirl ;)

    Prost!

In our version of that you had to open the beer next to your ear. Fine fun in a Royal Navy messdeck on any evening. :D

The one on the picture cost me about 100 £. Perhaps a bit expensive but anything that make me more productive is a good investment to me. The cheaper verisin is the milk frother above. But then you have to take away the dripper to insert it.

I tended to be an procedure that I could do without. It was a bit messy as well.

Or you could just pick up the bottle and ..... errrr ...... shake it in your hand.

Revolutionary and radical I know. But it gets the job done.

Not entirely sure whether this thread is meant to be serious or not. If it isn't, the humour is clearly far too subtle and sophisticated for me!!
