    Hello Folks,
Just finished this Redcoated Regiment, i had 3 grenadiers and officer left , so now they are completed.
    A lottle history :

The Royal Welch Fusiliers was a line infantry regiment of the British Army, part of the Prince of Wales' Division. It was founded in 1689 to oppose James II and to take part in the imminent war with France. The regiment was numbered as the 23rd Regiment of Foot, though it was one of the first regiments to be granted the honour of a fusilier title and so was known as The Welch Regiment of Fusiliers from 1702. The "Royal" accolade was earned fighting in the War of the Spanish Succession in 1713.
The regiment was sent to North America for service in the American Revolutionary War in 1773. The light infantry and grenadier companies of the Fusiliers saw bloody action at the Battle of Bunker Hill in June 1775; the light infantry suffered particularly heavy casualties.[22] All companies, except the grenadiers who were garrisoning New York City, fought at the Battle of Guilford Court House in March 1781. The regiment participated in nearly every campaign up to the Siege of Yorktown in September 1781.[At the surrender of Yorktown, the Royal Welch Fusiliers were the only British regiment not to surrender their colours; these were smuggled out tied around an ensign's waist.

    Hurrah !!!
Good work on the Stalingrad of the East Daniel. (I will try not to mention the black flash).
I like your pocket history of the Regiment, it adds a lot your massorama. It is easy to set why they lost this battle; all but three of them are pointing their muskets at the sky. :p . Seriously though You are really making a truly great mini history of these events.
    Best wishes

Hahah, of cours ei remeber the black flash, i love that detail.
Unfortunately i was 75% completed on the regiment and it was too much to add, but i really like the historical reference.
These are the kind of things that makes difference .
