    Mike,

Where did you dig up this high resolution colour photograph of a New Zealander at Gallipoli? I hadn't realised they had such good colour photography in those days.

Simply brilliant work yet again, and looks as if he has stepped straight out of the pages of history. Congratulations.

Hi Tony, BillyT, Nap, Peter, KuK, Marc, Anto, Phil, Joe, Scott, Paul, Andy, Pawel & Keith.

My sincerest apologies guys for not acknowledging & thanking each of you earlier for your comments.
This was an enjoyable project, with a chance to really test out & think through my approach to texturing. Still trying to capture that elusive authentic feel with each small art work, appreciate your support on this. I've lots more practice coming up, with another set of WW1 bust commissions due to be painted up before WorldExpo, plus some smaller projects before mid August. Unfortunately I'll not be able to share InProgress on these so maybe a bit quiet over coming months.
However I do hope to share news on catching up in person with some of you later in the year.

Bob, thanks too mate, not sure when article published & so will be sure to advise you & others here when it hits the virtual newsstand:)

ChrisR - always grateful for your kind comments & expertise mate.
Good to hear you think he has an accurate look for the period.
