    Always a pleasure Mate
Yes I agree with you, that face is real beauty. I was not aware that PB had reworked it. L will have to take a peek and play spot the difference.
Ah well time to take Harry on his woodland daily jaunt. Speak soon and get those brushes swirling
    Cheers

    Hi Keith

I see on your version there is a crown ..did you add that , looks good ( none on my original version)

Did you add the tails on the bonnet as well?

    Yes to both Kevin.
I based him as much as possible 0n photo of Colour Sergeant William Gardner VC DCM
The crown was maybe too tight to the top of the arm but I think that I got away with it.
The tails were made from wine bottle foil so that, along with the smoke, the wind swept look could be accentuated.

    Hi Keith

Good job I added the crown then !

Added the tails using lead strips with the bow in MS

Was thinking about adding the VC and modelling C/Sgt but went for the mutiny medal of "another" veteran

Imagine that medal group for William ....VC. DCM, Crimean medals

Looking forward to slapping paint on this !

    Hi Guys

Bit of an update ...spent some time getting a good clean finish on the uniform red using LC Matt Red ( also the same on the Suisse and Artillery bust!)

Now got a good base colour to work on ...it will look different ..hopefully !

Next will be the sash so tge only thing left black will be that bonnet

    Thanks for looking in

    Hi Guys

Up early today ..peace and quiet and then the lady of the house wakes up ...she has lost her voice !

Got lots done on this , laid down all base colours (using various LC and Army Painter acrylics ) except the beard and bonnet ......might give the bonnet a burnt umber one not sure yet , beard will be ginger.....ish!

The eyes are also done ...honest !

    image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

Also found this was looking ..possible future project ....Mmmmm

    Thanks for looking in
