Last year at euro militaire I purchased 2 horseheads from Siskin Miniatures in 1/10th scale which is a scale I work a lot in,the heads are beautifully sculpted but have the bridle and Tack sculpted for a hussar.
I plan to use this head with my current 8th cuirassier project but I had to remove all the sculpted bridle and tack so I could sculpt the new cuirassier one, also the head is posed in a relaxed position, the turn on the head is fine but I've altered the mouth from closed to open to portray the horse in action,i will also need to add the teeth,i've also removed the mane as I plan to build a new one which will be more free flowing, again to depict the horse in action.
the lumps in the picture is where I have added putty to replace the existing mane, these will be sanded to blend in with the neck muscles.
final composition I will be working on at after euro

I've been trying to locate a source for 1/10 horses. It appears that you and I are on the same track again.
