Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum as well as to the world of miniatures. Dad has being painting miniatures for a lifetime now and many years trying to get me into it. I lacked the patience before but now I have grown some.

I come from Spain, although I live in the capital of Scotland. I am interested in both painting and sculpting.

I was at Scale Scotland, Nap. Impressive event the local guys put together! I spent a lovely day there and even won a bronze medal with the figure you have seen in the Brutal Honesty thread

To be honest the Glasgow Show isn't in the same league as Edinburgh. Davie, Brian, Ron and myself will probably go but really just to see what's for sale.
What you should be working towards is Sword & Lance in Darlington, it's a cracking Show. It's on the 8th of April.
Next Year's guests are renowned painters:-
Fernando Ruiz & also Jaume Ortiz from Spain, so you'll be in good company ..... Fernando is nuts
Fernando is well known as both a painter and as the owner of FER Miniatures

That is really interesting. I am familiar to the works of Fernando Ruiz and Jaume Ortiz, top artists. Fernando is indeed nuts, and what an awesome work his brand does! that Major Tom bust must be mine...
