    Inbetween trying to find the biccies at Jimbo's yesterday I started work on this cracking bust from from Ellies

    Working on the uniform colour first , starting to come together ..lots to do ...really enjoying this already

    Hi Guys ,

    Bit of an update ..not the best piccy ...iPad !

    Finished the uniform blue , barrel sash completed

    Working on the lacework now ......

    Everthing else is just base-coated including the flesh ( which just has a sienna wash over it)

    Enjoying this a lot and looking forward to the next on my bench from Ellies

    Gells .....

    Finished all the frogging on the chest

    ...buttons next then the leather strap , cross belt , flesh , cap lines and finally the headwear itself

    For some reason I didn't do the flesh first ..just the eyes


    Daniel ....I am quite pleased with the uniform colour pushed the highs a bit more but this is just painting itself!

    Said it before sometimes bench time just flows and this is one of those times ...looking forward to getting the Bombardier from the box!

    Just got back to the bench ...shopping ....voluntary ..NOT!!!

    Finshed chest lace and buttons ( cords around neck/ chest etc still to be done )

    iPad pic.... yellow is darker with highlights !

    Now to the straps
