It is, I believe Nicole Kidman as Grace of Monaco, and not a portrait of Grace Kelly. A very good sculpt though.

I'm not sure it captures the likeness of either one to a great degree, but the painting and quality of the sculpting is fantastic.
I think the thing that it misses is the delicacy of her face, being a bit too pronounced in the cheeks, smile lines and brow, and perhaps too square in the jaw as well. I would never look at it and say "oh, thats Grace Kelly", or Nicole Kidman.

I find this superbe in painting,
But the sculpting is indeed what Jason said. I looked at it, and overlooked it again. Then i came to the same conclusion as Jason.

Superb sculpt and painting. However, as far as matching facial characteristics is concerned, there's only one sculptor with that talent,( IMHO), and that's Pavol Ovecka.

    This is so beautiful,
It has 'a grace all of it's own'.

The painting here is so inspiring it makes me want
    to own one.
I can see it painted differently and thereby getting more resemblance.

I wonder how she would look in black and white for example, which is how many of us saw her in the press.

    Lovely.

Well being a big grace Kelly fan I have to say the likeness is well off the mark I'm affraid,I have the utmost respect for life miniatures and they did a very good job on the Marilyn Monroe bust, but this is disappointing, the likeness just is'nt there for me.

    Hi Guys ,

A very different choice but agree not Princess Grace , more if anything towards the Nicole .

It's a brave releases as the painting certainly scares me! ...others etc like Pepa would do it justice

The dress is amazing painting so I am just going to enjoy that

Jeez, that paintwork is just brilliant!

Likness or not, that is gorgeous, the flesh is one thing, but the dress, gloves and sash are amazing.

I completely agree. That said it is a very nicely done sculpt; just not Princess Grace or Nicole Kidman (also a beauty IMO) as Princess Grace.
