    Hello folks,
Here's some pics of the 1st square ihave done, after i build the other 3 squares i was afraid i will have to re-arrange them in order to make sense.
That was the case with this square, it was nice and quite a sight to have the regiment de Soissonois in a full formation, but it didn't make sense with the square ground in front of it, a small farm house was on the way and it did not represent somehow an accurate marching to take up positions for battle.
So, i end up taking the whole soissonois and saintonge toopers , fixed the ground works and place them on a march facing to the southeast of Yorktown, where they took their final battle position
I will add a cart with a horse behind the saintonge chasseurs.

thanks Paul, yeah, it is scary when you have to take all of these troopers glued onto the base and fix the ground works, but it is all worth it.
now everything goes more in sinc with the diorama.

Hey Daniel it seems a great shame to re-position the soissonois and saintonge troopers but I know where you are coming from. When I see something that I could or should have done differently that is all I can see every time I look at it.
Good work with the carpentry on the table. Is this a new addition or did I miss it somehow? Either way its a nice point of interest amidst all of the regular troops. Very well done and good luck with the maneuvering of armys
    All the best Mate

Thanks my friend, yeah, my heart almost stopped when i was pulling those troopers from the square, but i know it was the right move, otherwise it wouldn't make sense dince they wore marching in full formation towards the farm house with a very narrow passage and it did not add it to the story.
As for the table..., it was one of those moments that i was thinking about the general staff and i remeber i had some wood sticks from the fence i have made for the 3rd square , so idecided to try my skills.
It was a spare of the moment and i was wow!, i can do these things haha.
I will open a thread for the general staff and will include the table there, still needs a lot of sanding and cleaning.
Thanks for always participating on the threads :)

I always take a few of these when I have saved enough cash to buy a coffee and didn't know what i was going to do with them.
Brilliant idea and good wood working skill. those lessons at school finally paid off.
