Not 100% but stud on sling/belt def brass

My thoughts for Brass are The Belt Buckle and adjustment buckles are Brass. The two hooks sewn into the tunic one either side to sit the belt in are brass. I just cant see white metal being used along side.

Scots Div WO sword belts have brass hooks and slings if that helps. I assume guards Div would be the same, they do like to have something to Brasso (other metal polishes are available) (y)

Up the page Mick has posted a great picture of it. The s shaped hook catches the ring on the scabbard.
That make sense? I'm not home just now or I could get a pic of mine.

The cap has moved on very nicely from what I saw at Thornbury.

I'm late in catching up on this one but it's looking wonderful. Well done and all the pics and references are making this thread even more intertesting.

He's Coming along fine mate, just out of curiosity, anyone know why he doesn't wear an officers sash?
    Scotty.

Not quite sure how to answer this. He is wearing his sash over is right shoulder. He wouldn't wear an officers sash as he is a senior NCO albeit he is called a warrant officer he is not a commissioned officer.

Sorry I know, but our RSM wore officers kit in ceremonials so I assumed all Regiments did. Is it just a guards thing?
    Cheers.
