Hi Brian thanks for working that out, (4 years) I better not buy any more, I am looking forward to chatting with all, 20 years ago figure painting was a lonely hobby, can I look back on PF to your painting of the face, it has an appearance that I have been trying to achieve.

I don't actually have an sbs on painting faces,I never paint a face the same way twice anyway,I just take it as it comes,I do have a v-bench though, and a lot of my work is on there. (y)

Well you have done a great job on that face, my faces still have the horrible action man colour, got this one finished and onto a plinth last night.

That looks pretty good to me,the helmet hides most of the face, but it looks ok from what I can see

Yeah that was one of those situations where I was tempted to just paint the eyes etc but ended up painting the entire face to be sure that there were no gaps, however it was painful to cover it with a helmet.
Its funny how painting styles have changed over the years and I cant get over how realistic some of the paint jobs are.
Thanks for you input, catch you later.
