    Hello folks,
I am starting to work on this Regiment now to be added to the diorama of the siege of Yorktown.
I had one grenadier i worked on about a year or so, i knew eventually i will add this regiment along with the regiment de Gatinois.
I have made a conversion from a british fusilier from Front rank miniatures to the 1779 french coat.
I am having this regiment wearing the tricorne hat with the red pompon mentioned on the 1779 regulation.
Not all of the regiments obeyed this regulation and grenadiers wore their proud signature item, the Bearfur hat.
    I will keep.adding troopers along.

May I ask why you convert figures from other manufacturers instead of using French figures from Trident's AWI line.I really like your conversions I'm just curious.

Hi Mark, the only reason i convert some of the figured is to add figures with a different pose and character.
Trident has a great range of them, but keep in mind i am using 6 different regiments for the diorama, that way i make sure that it will be some unique figures with unique pose along the diorama so it is not the same all along .
I also like the challenge of transforming a figure to a complete different one .
    Cheers my friend :)

    Hello folks,
Finished the hat, face and coat today.
I still need to work on the x-belts and then move onto the vest and pants.

    And these 2 are done.
I place them actian as annescort/guard to the Marquis de St Simon who was the general in charge of the Brigade Agenais , being grenadiers it is correct to assume they will be used as guards too.
