I was perusing a Blandford book uniforms of 7YW which show the uniform as red with blue facings at the time of Quebec ..apparently this was only for a short time

    Possible different conversion

The posibilities of conversion on this bust are infinite.
You can paint from.any white uniform to the datk.sky blue of the German Regiments in French service , or the swiss and irish in red coats.
All you jave to do is add a second x-belt to the bust , maybe the royal cypher of the French king or leave the grenade, both are accounted to be correct.
Marvelous bust to paint all of these uniforms. downloadfile-193.jpg 27c3d9ff549a3e7c64b72a66d60cf24a.jpg cfbfde6f0d1cfdee82a7ea26023b60f4.jpg

Hi Daniel We thought it had been a period that had been missed as far as the French were concerned. and it was a bust I had in mind for a while. it's just getting that something different that that sparks the interest of people. It is turning into a very nice set of busts I have to say and the ones that are coming up I'm sure will please as much as the one's that are out have.

I have to say it's down to the skill of Offo that makes them extra special and the art work from Gerard that brings them to life. we just do the casting and picking something we like. I'm sure you will enjoy painting him Daniel. who knows it might just set you on the road to doing more busts.

    Cheers
