Hello planeteers,
I am happy to post this figure here, it is the latest release from H&V, original title is a Chasseur 1782, and sculpted by talented Antonio Meseguer (aka Super Anto).
It is my first figure from them and i know it is not going to be the last.
I have wrote a review on the open box/review seccion so i will save some details.
I want it to have a grenadier , so i made some minor changes.
I built over the original hat to make it slightly larger (just a matter of taste) , gave this chap mustache (typical of grenadiers and a must for these frenchmen) a pompon and hear dress more appropriate for grenadiers.
To me the buttons were a tad small, so i 've use my old punch and die set and replaced the buttons on the coat.
I will probably paint this grenadier as one of the Agenois Regiment,

I layed the base color for the hat using GW charadon granite and a dab of vallejo german grey.
The red pompon was done using andrea color dark red and dotted in vallejo scarlet.
As for the face base color i follow this chart on the picture.

I like the additions you have made it make's for a better figure. Looking forward to more.

I love the little mods you've made, always a fan of people who can do them when they fit seamlessly into the original piece. He's a lovely looking little fellow I'm really looking forward to this finished piece.
