Thanks for looking in Colin, both are stunning figures and well worth the money. As for the book, great reference and I am sure it will be used quite a bit soon.
    Thank you for the coment.

I have no doubt that the finish will be even better than the start knowing the high standard of your work Bob.
    All the very best

Great start on this one. I have the drummer, and the colour sergeant is on my list. I have both the Franklin Napoleonic volume and British Uniforms 1759 to 1783. They are both indispensable reference works.

Smashing job on this Bob. The face in particular looks excellent.
Both of the figures are beautifully sculpted and I'm looking forward to the end result.
Some real painting challenges here particularly the young drummer in getting a fresher complexion without taking it too far.
Are you going for the arrangement Fernando used or are you planning a different setup?
    Cheers

Thanks for the great coment Del, I really appreciate that. I have done a bit more so more pics tonight.
I have no other figs to go with this but my thoughts are for a rise in the ground with the drummer slightly behind the C/Sgt. As you say these are great figures and well sculpted.
    Thanks again mate.
    Regards.

    Progress report;
Still some painting to fiddle with, Lace detail and yellow facings. Canteen to paint etc etc.
I have added a cork stopper to the canteen but its barely noticeable and the iron hoops around the canteen have been made from masking tape, also added a sword knot to NCOs sword.
Just one tiny error on the figure concerns the rolled greatcoat on the pack and I forgot to take a picture of it. The rolled effect is bigger on one side than the other but is easily corrected with green stuff.
Just to give him that worn, sweaty look, I painted some sweat from acrylic resin used for pigments as it's thicker ans stays in place.
    Thanks for looking in

This is coming along very nicely.
I like the face, and the wood of the spontoon looks spot-on.

    Cheers,

It's looking excellent. I concur with previous comments for British Army uniforms 1750-1815 the books of Frankin have no rivals.

It's always nice when someone 'pushes' a super kit further.

The perspiration is a great touch and not overdone Bob.

    Privates and Corporals sweat.
Senior NCO's and Junior Officers perspire.
    Majors and above merely glow.

    lovely stuff Our Bob

    Huw: thanks for the compliment

MarquisMini: Thanks for commenting and the yellow is from Citadel YRIEL YELLOW, lightened with off white and the shades with Vallejo Dark yellow mixed with the base colour.

Chris: thanks for staying the course and its nearly finished.

Malc: As I have said elsewhere this is a superbly sculpted kit and the detail is incredible.

Paul: You are too kind with the compliments and the reason that that SNCOs and above , perspire and glow is the bloody Privates and Corporals,
do all the work and are the backbone of the Regiment.:D

Thank you all for the comments, very much appreciated
