Personally I tend to agree with regard to the hand but Pavol has kept within the v bust configuration to match the other kits in the series. A full bust with the wooden be a pillar would be great.

Thank you gentlemen for your comments. I'm glad you like it.(y)
This bust is finally wihout hand to fit into the whole concept V Bust in MMM!
Only as an alternative supplement I did hand. It will be for the production of MMM and released this piece of arms. Someone so will want someone not vice versa.
Unless someone wants to add a beam of wood with a sign, it's on his skills. And will be original, like no other. It was with his hand so only my idea and take it as a bonus.
Therefore, another dyskusia about it is irrelevant.
    I understand, but it's true.
Thanks again for your positive response.;)

Outstanding likeness! You should be very pleased with it! That smiling cynical malingerer con artist face of actor James Booth portraying Private Hook gives the sculptor lots to work with!

    All the best,

Well I admire your confidence Pavol, to persevere with your piece regardless of the majority of comment suggesting a complete arm would be preferable.
I wonder why you would put the piece in the WIP forum if it's final form is already decided.

Hi Mark, it is in the section WIP as an even and fine-tune the details. Rear side of the bust is not finished. Therefore, it is WIP. Always good to hear opinions. However, I consider and chooses to do it. In this case, I explain. The hand was just my idea. Busta is designed from the beginning as V bust without hands. It is part of a series has so far made three busts pieces with this subject. It is a production program MMM. A concept does not interfere.
I do not exclude that this bust is soon to be finalized at half figure with arms and all that it takes.
I hope this explanation is sufficient.
I respect your opinions and reflect on them with Ross and ...
Although this is referred to as WIP instead WIP Critique .
I take it as your request, and we prepare in agreement with Ross and such variations.
PS my work published as WIP is always a 90% complete.(y)

Well, on the bright side, the hand would be the hardest part to sculpt, so with that included, the rest of the arm is a fairly straightforward thing to do. The beam is also a simple scratchbuild. I think in this case, the desire for the whole arm is that the hand holding the spear is so integral to the feel and back story of the piece, that not having it takes away some of the character of the figure. I mean, without it, we just have a guy with a funny grin on his face, without a real idea as to why. The hand with spear, and the carved named, tells the story. So having the hand and spear is a good thing, its just that floaty hands are (for me), a little weird.
