    Cheers Huw , hope to get this guy finished in time for ingolstadt , top half of the body is almost done and the head and face are finished but it will be a near run thing :D :rolleyes:

    Don't know how you do it Ron, I know you have explained but they just seem to come to life.
    As for the Sheep skin looks soft enough to touch.

    Hi Mick thanx for the kind coments .

    It has been somewhere around 25 years since I painted a sheepskin :rolleyes: the last time was on the Poste Militaire mounted Dragoon by Ray lamb :D
    I have included an update pic here as I was not happy with the contrast between the wolves toothing and the fleece , so a little darker lining was added.
    Also some more shading with a mixture of Titanium white and Lamp Black which gave me a nice grey with a slightly mauve tint .
    The digi camera has blasted a lot of this extra work out ; so the contrast is a bit more than you can see in the pic

    Ron this horse is a beauty and so is the groundwork.
    I really like the tones around the mouth and nostrils.

    I can't wait to see the rider...but I shall have to.
