Suggestions for painting a camel....

    May sound obvious, but just paint what you see.
    You might be over complicating things.
    That's why Geno's are better than Pat's.......

    There were a couple of camels painted in Figure International magazine that might be worth a look (inc. paint colours used) if you are struggling - Issue 4 has the classic Dave Grieve Camel Corps figure and issue 40 has the 90 mm Andrea Lawrence of Arabia figure.

    One thing I would add - a camel's coat is matt - not shiny like a horse's is...

    I think I'm going too use the dry brush technique with acrylic paints, this will give me a matt finish......

    One of the Masterbox sets has a camel. I used Vallejo German camouflage pale brown. Worked quite well.
