WIP Critique Trench scene from Jon Smith

I want to show here a new project for the next years. Some years ago I bought the trench scene from Jon Smith in 120mm. After I had a look inside I had to build a part of the trench because I had no chance to get everything correct back in the parcel (Don´t know how Jon can make that :()

After the pieces were laying here in my cabinet some years again I started last week to build the "base" for the projekt. It is neccassary because Jon had build a "Unterstand" and so I need a groundbase 10 high.

I will buy some other parts from Jon to show at one part of the trench how close/small (don´t know the right word) the trenches were.

I will put a third figures in the scene and an anti-aircraft-MG from Jon.

And I had put a 54 mm figure from me in the second photo so you can see that I will get a problem with my cabinet after finish my work ;)

Looking forward to following your progress with this Ulrich. The inclusion of the 54mm fig. just shows how large this is going to be. :wideyed:

    Thanks, Guys.
Fokionas: Just had a look at your "kit". Great, hope that my version will look someday similar. And I must buy or sculpt some rats ;)

Because it's so big I only take the one with the NCO and build it up.

Ulrich - this is going to be fun!!

Verlinden & DJParkins-Frontline both make rats in 1/16th scale or 120mm.
DJParkins also makes some other useful bits for a trench scene (see attachment ww1 dioramaaccs1s).
Verlinden has a rat as part of the figure # 1925 kit (second attachment below).

But by all means sculpt some yourself! (y)

    All the best,
    Dan

I have started to glue some parts at their places because I got from Jon some new parts. One side is fixed and today I will glue the bottom-parts. And the I will start to over the back of the main side. No idea how but I will find a solution
