Not tonight Chippy my favourite ickle woodworm....

I put a coat of paint on the outside coachwork and I just don't like the shade at all It's too dark.

So.....I'll cover that mistake by just calling it
    a pre-shading undercoat...how trendy is that ?

So, if coat 2 is ok this cab and chassis will be ready for detail painting and coachlining in gold later in the week.

The football will keep me away from the bench tomorrow, evening and my daughter will be keeping me away from my
plan to not spend money by 'taking me for tea' on Thursday evening.

Have you noticed Gordon, when your offspring
'takes you for tea' it costs you money?

My youngest Son is taking me with him house hunting tomorrow(looking to move up ) God knows what that's going to cost me .

Football - who do you support? I support the biggest team in Wales - Cardiff city.

I know what you mean about money. My girls are so sweet and charming when they want something, otherwise I'm this 52 old model, chopper and heavy rock mad freak who they're embarrassed of !!!

Try this one to avoid unnecessary jobs - really really screw one up accidentally on purpose such as no hot water for 48 hours, no electric or no heating. They will soon learn to get a proper craftsman in ;-)

    Hey Paul

you've got me in trouble - or you will have soon. The build got me fired to order the last bits for a pet project which I concieved many years ago - just sent a £100 order for Historex bits and bobs... hope I can make an intercept on this one.

    Cheers

Huw63 I would get Hell from my Missus if I didn't take care of her Boys . (after 35 years in the trade I think I'm ok tradesman :unsure: )
See What You Have Started Paul . sheer madness . Can you imagine the scene at model shows in the future , tables groaning under the weight of dioramas depicting such events as The Fall of Rome , Agincourt , The D Day landing . and then there will be the casualties Those who have lost their homes and families through the lack of understanding the passion , but worse much worse will be the gibbering Ex modellers going round shows trying to remember where it all went wrong .

Sorry I posted that too soon,
It would be wonderful to see more than just rows of aircraft and tanks at the shows mate I do agree. If the tables were groaning with the weight of battle scenes they could not be going wrong in this modeller's eyes.
sod the mortgage there's models need making.
