Gra at CGS military figures a while ago very kindly gave me a box with odds & sods of his kit parts and said "Here you are Jim see what you can sort out of this lot" Just like to say your an absolute gent Gra & many thanks.
This is the first one I come up with a Sgt Coldstream Guards Light Comany 1815 and all I had to work with was a head & torso from Gras Coldstream Guard bust sculpted by Carl Reid, a French knapsack and a French musket with two hands attached, which I converted to look something like a new land pattern British musket, everything else, arms pack etc has been mostly built out of magic sculpt

looks very good, no, a superb change. I would keep it as a french musket unless you sort out the guards behind the trigger.

As I'm sure your aware there were several variation of the Brown Bess and I believe possibly the Light Company 2nd Coldstream Guards were issued with the latest variation just prior to Waterloo, these I "believe" had the curly trigger guard similar to the Baker rifle and were lighter and more of a fusil rather then a heavier earlier Brown Bess musket?

Could always be an American from the War of 1812? Copies of Charleville musket were used by the Infantry. Remove Coldstream Insignia and you have a combatant from Lundys Lane or Chryslers Farm

I have been give the bust of the Coldstream gaurd for a Christmas present, fantastic, first bust I've had and must admit I'm impressed.

Shame this is not on offer as I'm sure by putting the two together would be just a brilliant set piece,
