Here is a resin kit I bought on line, quite some time ago, from King Kong Model Mansion. And the bust is in 1:6th scale. An excellent casting with very little clean up. THANK YOU! It was a lot of fun to paint. I tried to remember all the shades and colours and tones on the left side of the colour wheel, i.e. Blues, Greens, Yellows. And that was my thinking as I painted this bust, first in acrylics and then a few touched of oil paints. Naturally, critical comments from you fine ladies and gentleman who make up our Planet Figure population. . . are most welcome. Kind regards, The Miami Jayhawk, a.k.a. Rick Brownlee . . . in Heartland America.

Oh my goodness, Dimitris, you are so kind, Sir. I do so appreciate your
encouraging remarks. And as I said that mean GREEN machine was really
a lot of fun to paint. I went on line, of course, and downloaded close up
photos of the Hulk's eyes. And altho I have a lot of trouble painting
eye in the small scales, i.e.1:35th and 54mm, I know that the eyes have
to be right. Or the figure just doesn't look right. Again, thank you
for your most welcomed remarks! Rick Brownlee

Thanks Huw for the kind words. Oh yes, I remember the
1970s well; when my little daughter used to sit in front of
the TV and watch Sesame Street. The Cookie Monster was
my favorite! :). . . Alas, she is now 44 and lives 1,100 miles
    away. :( Jayhawker

Excellent eyes and green skin tones on this bust.
I particularly like the way you've merged the natural skin tones with the green in the face.
    Very well done.

    Cheers,

Good morning, Andrew: And thank you for your kind words.
Regarding the addition of "natural skin tones" on the green
face, I didn't have that idea in mind at the first. But I was
having so much fun painting the oils over the acrylic base
colours, the idea just kinda' hit me. Also I decided to go a
little further afield and add blue to the hair, as highlights
on the top of his head.
    Kind regards, Rick
