Finished this latest piece which depicts Captain Mercer - G Troop - RHA,the bust is produced by Mitches Military Models in 200mm scale and scuklpted by Maurice Corry,i had some minor assembly problems with the fit of the pelisse to the main body which I overcame by just thinning out the inside of the pelisse and warming the resin and with some gentle pressure correcting the fit, other than that assembly was quite straight forward.
As I mentioned in an earlier post,i added the stone pillar just for a little added interest, the piece was underpainted in Humbrol and GW acrylics and finished in oils, the metals were done with Darkstar acrylics.

    Hello Brian:
Wow, another beautiful example of your talent at its best.
Lovely photographs too. I do want to also comment that I
appreciate you mentioning (like a good newspaper journalist)
all the important details, i.e. the SCALE, the company who
produced the bust, and the sculptor. I fear sometime when
we post here we forget that some of the group are not all that
familiar with each release. And without knowing the scale, in
particular, it is hard to know exactly what the viewer is looking
at. So Kudos for that as well. Rick
