I painted this fellow a few years ago,(resin version),and ended up selling him to a collector,so i thought i would give it another go,(metal version).Still some work to do on him.

I remember your first version Brian, I'd posted mine up not to long before and had been really pleased with it .... then you came along and made it look decidedly average :ROFLMAO:  :arghh::cry:!!

This one is every bit as good as your first one. As usual the painting is top drawer, and that base & groundwork set it off to perfection. This is one of my all-time favourite figures and is one of the few that I'd happily paint again having done it once already (too many great pieces out there to keep on painting repeats).

Lovely stuff mate (y) Didn't realise the new release was available in metal, has there been a bit of remastering?

It's the exact same as the original one,but it's produced by Masterclass/De Ja Vu.I painted a slightly different expression on his face this time round, but it's still the same face.

Great combination of colours and groundwork - I dont usually like the bases with sections missing but admit this one really suits your scene and matches the forest floor theme. And very fine painting too.
    Cheers
