Sorry to be doing a new post on this but the current one doesn't seem to want to let me add new pictures, so my apologies to put you through the torture again. Anyway I added more darker shades and toned down the highlights less white more of the green. I also took the pictures in varying light which does effect the look. I didn't use the flash as it looks hideous and cartoonish. So make up your own mind with this lot, I know I started losing the plot after looking at green for so long, I swore Grouchy started to look like something else .

I like the tones you have achieved on the greens, as I missed your first post, is this a commercial figure or did you sculpt it. The great coat is superb and full of life.

I wish I was at a standard to sculpt this, it's actually a Pegasso figure. I just wanted to show how different light seems to change how the blends look, some better than others.

The folds on the coat are awesome! Whoever the sculptor was, he or she was into taking some chances.

I'm not a painter so can't comment too much on that, but I can see what you are talking about with the green tones bleeding all over the photo. You can correct some of what is happening by using Photoshop. Maybe I'd try a solid black background and high but diffuse ambient light. I'll leave further comments about how to light the piece to better photographers than myself.

I agree fantastic sculpt, probably one of the things that atttracted me in the first place along with the historical details etc. I don't have photoshop just using my android to take pics then using a picture editor before posting.
