Hi there , Have been working on this one for a while . This is my first Bust in 2 years because I had become so intimidated by the boxart of particularly Nuts Planet and Life miniatures , I thought How can my painting compare to that ?Anyway when I saw this bust I just couldnt resist . This is also the first time I have used predominately Acylics on a bust as all my previous busts have been painted in Oils . I felt I couldnt get the results I was after using Oils so here is the result . It is by far the highest quality bust I have ever worked on and I am always amazed at how good Nuts Planet and Life miniatures busts are . Hope you like and as always comments or criticisms welcome . I don't know what you're intimidated about because that is easily as good as any box art I have ever seen (y)(y)(y). Marvellous skin tones, and that leather is stunning (y).
    Best wishes, Gary.

I look at this and I know why I don't do Busts. GREAT work better than a photograph.

Brilliant work, that's hyper realistic, even the chains in her hair are awesome, I know how I feel when I look at Myeong Ha Hwangs box top art or someone like Ben Komets work and wonder "how am I meant to replicate that", then realise I don't have to.
Use whatever paint scheme you want once the flesh tones are out of the way, and yours are superb, down to the highlights on the back of her hand, if it's from a film still with a well know figure like Lagertha then yes you can stick to those colours but hey, your kit your rules, I love it, well done.
    Regards.
    Mick.

This is really fantastic work. This is as good as the box art in IMO. I like the way you have painted different materials and details on this bust. Great job!
