    Greetings.
This is my Second post in WIP. The figures are:-
    1, 120mm Coldstream Guard 1854. *** Mitches Military Models
    2, 120mm 19th Regt of Foot. 1854 Grenadier Miniatures ( Stormtrooper)
*** The Coldstreamer has undergone a conversion thanks to jimmbo ( Jim Evans) So thanks Jim.
The figures will be part of a larger project entitled Queen Victorias Army of the East.
I will be using Vallejo acrylic and Colour air for this project.

All advice & comments will be appreciated during this project. So Paul (Peedee) what's your advice on shading for these two.

Nice of you to look in. Yes well pleased with the conversion Jim did a great job. Spent all day cleaning up the bits just a couple more to go, then on to the undercoat.

    Hi Nap.
Off the top of my head I'd say 18/19 at the moment. I have 6 already done 1 mental block and awaiting a spare part that I hoping to pick up at euro. Basically its all Stormtroopers/ Grenadiers, CGS and MMM. 120 mm Crimean figs and maybe Victory miniatures two mounted figs but not sure if they will go.

    OK.
The cleaning up and dry build went well, No issues with either model. Now for the primer/undercoat. For this I will use Vallejo USN Light Ghost Primer via the airbrush.
My only worry at the moment is painting the front of the Coldstreamer as due to the conversion the arms are fixed. Jim did warn me and I gave the ok so we will have to see, may be a bit of a challenge. But onwards and upwards

    Hi.
Kevin. Yes Jimbo did a good job on him, I'm well pleased. I posted it to him on the monday and I received it back the following monday. Can't ask better than that. I just didn't like the original pose I felt it would be more at home with a SA80 instead of a musket. Sorry Moz.

Ralph. I hope it turns out how I envisage it in my minds eye. I have always wanted to do something on the lines of Richard Simkins prints, Pick a date in between 1838 and 1902 select ie all the Irish or Scottish Regiments, with a figure for each Regiment but wearing different uniforms in use 0n that date. I have muted my idea to some manufacturers with no joy so this is the nearest I think I will ever get.

Well I have spent a couple of hrs this morning with the air brush applying the primer/undercoat.. All went as good as gold no problems. I wont bore you with a load of pictures of primed parts. So just one for practice.

    Mick. ,

This is going you be good reminds me a bit of when all the Ensign Figures in mess dress ( think it was a Major Bob Rowe that sculpted them) appeared on the cover and Inside Military Modelling all interacting with each other ...you're probably too young to remember these!!!

    Keep those updates coming
