New head - better pix. Still need to reduce and balance the bags under his eyes.

You must maintain good relations with the future decision makers or you may find yourself getting put down next time you complain about a bad headache.

I may have to dig up the old nightlight out of Dylan's toddler stuff. Thanx for the sweet dreams

By the new pics this head is better... More defined features, strong profile and great lettuce!

    Looking even better Colin.
I don't think I will get a choice, as long as I got paint I'll be happy.

Excellent progress Colin. Great to see Lannes coming back to life.

Good too that you kept SWMBO happy and preserved the goodwill of one of those who decide which nuring home you get sent to.

Finally don't believe a word about the other Colin having nightmares - he's the sort of guy who makes foliage die where he treads....

    Cheers

Huw, if I had feelings they'd be hurt right now. Good thing...

I've pulled up a chair, am sitting comfortably and looking forward to another virtuoso performance.

    Hey Colin,
I wanted to throw up when I saw what happened during the stripping process!! Great come back, and excellent job with the oils.
Maybe I could get some pointers. I have always liked the look of oils for flesh, just too scared to use.

Anytime Darren. But I am sure that you will find many on this site far more qualified than I am to provide oil painting advice.

I have picked up the melted piece a few times to try and salvage him as I still like him more than his successor. Not going to happen though as he would have to stripped down to an armature and I am entering a quiet time for hobby activity as my need to work on my house intensifies :-(

How about some sort of Walking Dead character!! LOL!
    Half rotted corpse.

And don't sell yourself short on your skills. I thought the flesh tones were great,! That's why I felt my stomach turn!
