Started with this 1:9 buste from MMM.
    Painting with oils.
The face is not perfect. Specialy the lower part. This gives the face a bit a comic look.
Furthermore I need some help with the decorations on this bust.
Someone info about these items? Much appreciate it to receive some sites to guide me with the correct painting.

    Hi Yoshi

I think you have MMM version there not the CGS as shown below.

Eyes should be deep blue grey. This shot from Mme. Tussaud's rather horrible portrait may help.

Hi guys, thanks for the quick reactions. This sure helps me.
Can't change the title but I made a mistake with CGS and MMM. Sorry for that.

If you can find a better shot of this portrait by Lawrence(?) that would help.

    Hi

Worth noting his face might have looked a little gaunt because Wellington had teeth trouble and in 1814 had all his teeth removed.

    Cheers

And I thought he only had a problem with a stiff upper lip!

Definitely teeth too - and as for his dentures... instruments of torture.

In India he suffered from a skin condition and he was treated with baths in Nitric Acid... he was physically pretty tough.

NP - one of the awards is the garter star - top one in the painting. Not sure about the other.
