Hey there ,This is my first bust in a long time .Had all but lost interest in busts but these Nuts Planet beauty's are impossible to resist ! The quality is amazing ,the casting ,sculpting and likeness to the subject are spot on .The only problem being the shield is slightly warped and being quite thin I will have to be careful trying to straiten it . Anyway I am a bit concerned about doing this beauty justice as I think the higher quality of sculpting requires a higher quality of painting !Thanks for looking . lagetha wip 001.jpg legatha wip 003.jpg legatha wip 004.jpg

...... and a higher quality of painting is what you are giving it!!!!!!! Beautiful work so far, the eyes are eye catching and the face is superb. I know you are not finished, but maybe a slight rosy tint to her neck and collar bone area. Thanks for showing

As already stated above, the skin tones are amazing.
Any chance of telling us what colour combinations you used to achieve them?

    Cheers,
    Andrew

No need to worry about the painting quality - this is superb, the skin and eyes, and lips especially good.

Dip the shield in hot water for a couple of minutes and then reshape the shield and while still holding the shield in the position you want run it under cold water and that will do the trick.

She is coming along beautifully. It is superfluous to mention the skin tones again, but I am going to anyway. They are magnificent, so fresh and natural(y)(y):). To anyone who can paint as beautifully as this,,, I hate you :p:LOL:.
    Best wishes, Gary.

Hi Chris , I did use an airbrush for the face but went over it with many thin glazes with the brush afterwards .I find I never get a lot of definition with just an airbrush , Cheers.

Hi Guys , I used the Andrea flesh set +light yellow ,crimson ,black and white all from Andrea.I find this set very useful and I like Andrea paints the best but you need to add some crimson or it will look too yellow . Hope this helps , Thanks for the comments .
