    Hi planeters,
Two news from Pegaso: a bust and a figure.
The 1/9 bust is a crusader with a zombie version.
The 90mm is a crusader with two head.

    Ciao

I think that the painting of the "zombie knight" with the green cross of the Order of St. Lazarus, a order of leper knights, was of very, very, bad taste.

I thought the painted version posted above had used the normal head - the zombie version is unpainted, in these pics at least., so I think it's unfair to make the connection.
But the bust (with either head) isn't for me though.

I like 'em both, but they're not "must-haves".

Although not my thing, it has to be said that the painted Norman bust is a marvellous example.......a truly brutal looking fellow!

    Hi Guys ,

Reckon Pegaso are miles off the mark with the bust...suppose it's good to have an option but neither floats my boat .

Agree with Old Taff ..painting really good especially on the clothing

    Try again Pegaso

PS The 90 mm looks miles better

I really like the bust particularly with the ugly face. The leper knight face is good as well but I personally wouldn't use the zombie face.
Well done Pegaso for providing 3 face options, it's great to see a major manufacturer adding value and choice.
The painting is what you would expect from one of the best.
    Cheers

They weren't all lepers, were they not a 'hospitaller' order who cared for lepers?.. Knights who contracted the disease then joined the order ..mind you I'm pretty sure there weren't many zombies around.
Don't see a version of the zombie painted to get offended by

Those teeth on the Zombie bust remind me a another bust I've seen somewhere recently....
But who cares when there's more Crusaders available for us all to delight in.
I've said it before and no doubt I'll say it again but surely there exists more Crusader figures and busts in the world at the moment, than there ever was real Crusaders who went off crusading to the Holy Lands....
....but the research Pegaso must surely do indicates to them that it is commercially profitable to make room for even more, so good luck to them.

I think its clever thinking to cater for wider group of people. It is clearly inspired by what Sergei Popovichenko designed and later Tartar produced with a Knight from the Crypt.

And I am not sure if human knight is Lasarus order, zombie knight should be - surely its what/where one's fantasy takes it?

AND... a proverbial spoon of tar in a bucket of honey:

I really dont like human person's mouth, anatomically.
And with zombie knight I expected at least a little of some clever weathering of the rest to go in line with the character.
Yes, modeller can do what they want with it, but I am making an assumption that alot of modellers would not feel confident doing it themselves and surely sculptor too had a vision of what it should look like...

I like an idea of two heads, I would like it even more if design allowed easy swapping of painted heads to change whenever you are boardâ„¢ with previous one, and enjoy both options.

And another thing....if the BUST (!) doesnt float NAP's (!) boat  , then sweet Jeebus, you are in trouble...

I like the human version, personally looks a real thug, rather like most of them were Hollywood aside. So it's good as far as I am concerned and it need not be a Crusader suit anybody from around 900-1300AD simply by taking the crosses off,. Zombie head would be a great thing in the hands of Ron (kagemusha) and a few others who's names escape me.

    Hi
I like both versions of the bust ......Though it might be interesting to putty
over the zombie face here and there ... all the proportions are there
could end up with something quite unique

Teeth are way too big on the zombie....especially the lower ones. Not thrilled with the mouth/lips on the other version. No loss to Pegaso as I wouldn't buy them no matter how well sculpted as I have zero interest in knights.
