Just as the title says, I spend hours and hours on a figure but get real lazy when it comes to the groundwork. Anybody know of any good reference material out there that can help to bring it up a level?

    Cheers

....and I thought it was just me. Try Pete Garrion's article, it is excellent.

    Hi Ray,
You could try and get a copy of this Osprey master class terrain modelling. It might give you some useful tips and hints.
    cheers

    Hi Ray,

I can recommend.....Let's build a diorama Vol II (Terrain and vegetation) by Laszlo Adoba

It is usually available at Euro and costs around £12 as a paperback. Volume I deals with the Urban Environment.

Riches recommendation I can also endorse. It is a hardback by Richard Windrow called Terrain Modelling and published by Osprey...I think out of print now.

Search here in the forum. I'm frustrated that I cannot remember who's thread it was, but there was just in the past month or so, an SBS thread on groundwork. If I find it, I'll add the link.

    Prost!
