    Hello planeteers,
I have received today my order from Front Rank figurines, continental staff.
I've order 4 figures and glad i have order 2 horses thinking the figures will come with horses included, so the 2 "extra horses "i've order came in handy.
Anyhow, i started the conversion on one of them, i will make him the Duc de St Simon, in charge of the regiment de Touraine and St simon colonial troops ( including Belsunce Dragoons and a detachment of 1st compagnie Vontaires de la Marine ,hussars).
The conversion is pretty easy, shaved the lapels and part of the turndown collar, will add the standing collar and lace on the edges.
The other figure is a continental staff officer observing the action of the Touraine grenadiers and chasseurs on their diversionary attack on the 23rd Foot( welsh regiment).
The figures are great in derail with great character.
    Regards

    Hello folks,
Started to lay some paint on the continental officer.
Worked on the stand up collar and lace on the Marquis de St. Simon.
Will follow more work on the lace around the cuffs and coat pockets.

    Hello folks,
Finished the horses, while i am not completely happy with the result i find them ok , always room for improvement.
The mounted French and continental's staff officers are almost done, just need some touch ups here and there.
I will start preparing the battle field next so i could place them there.

The horses look nice Daniel... as does the rest. (y) perhaps you could try adding the pupils to the horses eyes and a catchlight to make them look more alive.

    Hello planeteers,
While i am almost finished with these mounted figures, i took care of one of the squares where the regiment of Royal Deux -ponts and Bourbonnais standed and re-made all the scenery to make it in sync with the one behind in which the regiments soissonois and gatenois are.
Bought some trees and added more stuff to the terrain including an elevation since i envision the marquis, the continental officer and perhaps a couple of Belsunce Dragoons as kind of guard to St. Simon since they wore brought from the islands as part of headquarter 's staff.
I re-positiones the Royal Deux-Ponts in a different configuration like marching to probably what it will be their march to take battle positions.

Daniel, is the Belsunce (sp) Dragoon a conversion? The groundwork panels are very well done.
