This is one far out looking diorama! Your plan obviously came together !

Not blowing smoke, I don't believe I've seen a better WW2 dio. This is a masterpiece and simply, in the best possible way, unbelieveable. I can feel the anxiety of the M8 crew and aggression of the SS during the Buldge. The tension is immense. They are so dangerously close, as if a fight is imminent. It's complete in every way, not in any way over-painted or cluttered. This is what all of us is our hobby can only hope to achieve. Your skill is consistant on every aspect, not just good on the armor, great on the figures, just ok on the terrain, like we see in most dio's, every part is stunning, perfect. Can you tell I love this work? Lol. Bravo, my man. Bravo.

Me again I have always wondered the dimensions on theses type of up hill bases, the one I am doing is a lot flatter
But I am curious to know the dimensions of your base if you don't mine

Thank you all. This diorama almost did not happen. As some of you probably saw my post on FB know, but i know some of you dont. Basically the base, vehicles, trees, and the 2 figures fording down the hill were complete. I had finished up some work that night and put it on top of my curio which is about 6-1/2' high. I kept it there because i have adolescent cats who are very curious. Anyway i'm in the bathroom and I hear the most thunderous crash. I say to myself, "no it can't be". I rush out back into the livingroom and my wife is holding what is left of the almost complete diorama. The figures were in about 6-7 pieces each, lost 3-1/2 trees, turret of the m8 flew off somewhere stowage gone just a disaster. I really thought the whole project was gone. The wife and i luckily got on our hands and knees at about 2:30 in the morning and actually found every single piece. I did not go to sleep that night as it took about 5 hours of nonstop repairs (i knew i'd never sleep that night unless i knew it could be repaired). Anywho i was very lucky there was not more damage then there was. Well enough ranting, i just thought you'd all enjoy the story. Thanks again.

It has all been said and it is a wonderful work with loads to look at. I admire your patience especially the rebuild.

the trees are from a company called the scenic factory. basically they give you all you need to make these trees. Mine are modifies a bit but nothing major just very time consuming to get then to look natural.

Now you have given the dimensions, this is truly awesome. I knew a modeller in the late 80s who would always sculpt a figure with an eye patch. what ever dio he did, you looked for the eyepatch. He was into WWII

Thanks stash. Thats exactly the feeling I tried to convey. I always try to leave an open ending to my dioramas. I try to make the viewer think about what is going to happen rather than what did happen. I think it draws a little more interest that way.

Hello friend Dan a question: which brand are the figures used in the diorama? are of various mixed trademarks or only one?

I'm preparing my first scene of the second world war and only know brands such as Alpine and Mantis.

You can tell me which brand has used?

Hello. I used numerous figures from different companies, most all are modifed in some way whether it be a hornet head, position changes in arms and legs, different gear etc. i used Warriors, Corpus, Mantis, Airborne, Verlinden, Miniart & Dragon. Hope this helps you.
