Geez Richie, what an awesomely cool, frozen in time battle scene! Your melee on the mealie bags ought to be in a museum for all to see.

    Richie,

A really outstanding piece of work. Love it. Reminds me of some of the great dioramas made with the old Hinchliffe 54mm figures.

    Hi Joe,
Thank you mate, book yourself a ticket for the Sword & Lance, just tell the other half Richie said it was OK and bring Pete with you.:) You never know it may go to a good home if I get the right offer. If not, I will enjoy for quite a few years and then take it to Brecon as a donation.

    Hi Pete,
Thank you mate, glad you like it, come over and on a road trip with Joe, it has tested everything about me. If I do another one on this scale I might just end up in a padded modelling room.;)
    cheers

One of the finest and stunning tributes to the Rorke's Drift boys we are ever likely to see -- surely stands with the Cliff Sanderson diorama at Brecon museum. Congratulations, Richie, it's a credit to you.

Agree with all the above sentiments mate....you are a credit to your dads memory....he...as am I...would be proud of what you have achieved....both with this piece...and your business ventures of late.
Keep at it Richie...I have no doubt...the very best is yet to come.
Congratulations on completing such a detailed project mate.

    Best wishes

    Hi Alan,
Thank you mate, I have seen that piece of Cliff's a few times at Brecon and it is a monumental piece and deserves a pride of place in the museum. With the last three letter of your name "Taff" are you a boy from the Valley's? I would like to think it's not just a credit to me but everyone who has helped and supported mate.

    Hi Ron,
Thank you mate, the sentiment of you being proud of me is a lift I cannot put into words. You have helped and mentored me even behind the scenes as have some others and that means a hell of a lot. I am really looking forward to meeting you at the Sword & Lance, but even you will have a four foot exclusion zone otherwise you will cuff me around the ear for air brush technique.:ROFLMAO:
    cheers

    Well done Richie, well done.
There's nothing left to say that hasn't been said already.
You know I understand the drive behind the work and I think it's safe to say the Old Man is proud as hell.

Monday, me and my Old Man will be tipping some good Canadian whiskey to you and your Pops.

    Cheers my brother

    Hello Richie,
Been following this piece for quite awhile....thought you finished and I missed it.....Looking great.....Very inspiring .......The break you are taking is a good thing from the stand point that you will come back to it even more inspired and will probably see things (details) that you missed. You've heard the old saying..."too close to the forest you can't see the trees (or something like that).......Anyway.....All the best in all you do.......Regards,..Wayne

    Superb Richie,
All that goading to get you to do this 120th monster........I am not sure that anyone at the time thought that it would happen. All credit for your staying power let alone your vision, sculpting sills and painting ability. I am in awe of your work here and hope that you get the house back to normal PDQ.

OH forgot to mention the groundwork.......is there any, I cannot see any
    Great work Mate,

    Hi Ray,
Thank you mate, I'm looking forward to next week, from some of the work I've seen on here and know who is going you'll have some fantastic pieces to photograph.

    Hi Colin,
Thank you my brother, I know were you are coming from better than anyone else mate. I promise to raise a glass scotch also on Monday to you and your Dad, stay safe my brother.

    Hi Tom,
Thank you mate, I hope you will like it better in full colour rather than grayscale the last time you saw it.

    Hi Joe,
Thank you mate, it's a pity some of my brothers from across the pond cannot make it, but don't worry mate you will be included because we will take plenty of photo's for you.

    Hi Wayne,
Thank you mate, there are things I would have done differently, but I'll just squint so they are not so obvious and promise to do better next time once I have recovered from this.

    Hi Brock,
Thank you mate, believe me there have been times over this last 14 months I've put Zulu on to get my inspiration back.

    Hi Keith,
Thank you mate, there were times when I even thought I would never get it completed. It is a testament not only my staying power but to you my friend and all the other who have given me the support and spurred me on to complete this over the last 14 months.

    Thank you all again.
    cheers

Hi, Richie,.....yes, although London -born.[ And born within sound of Bow Bells, Limehouse. Identity crisis,or what?:arghh: ] Parents were Welsh, working in London. Family all centred around Aberystwyth & Aberaeron, inland to Tregaron, Llangeitho & Llanafan. So I can switch accents from Cockney to Cymraeg at the flick of my thumb.
Well, everyone's got be from somewhere.
