Thanks Ulrich. I did consider other regiments but decided the light blue facings with white piping of Nr.16 was a nice looking colour combination.
Two figures, one in the old blue uniform and the other in grey, would make an interesting display, go for it and I will take the credit for a good idea. :D

Nice horsey Roger. Very rich colouring. Is it the pics that make it appear that glossy or is the oil not dry yet?

The leather of the saddle looks great as well.

Oooooo, a plan. I've heard of them, but I've never actually had one myself.

    Hi Roger,
There's no hiding with this one, all sides to be painted before you bash it flat with the mallet.:D Seriously though Roger brought this to the club meet, at first we thought he had found it on the floor, a round everyone gasped:eek:. I can testify that is a lovely looking quality figure with great animation. I'm looking forward to seeing this in the flesh mate once painted, only a week to S & L will it be ready? No pressure then.:)
    cheers

There's no chance this will be ready for S&L. I don't do many of these funny round things so I'm going to make it last. :D

Thank you Georges, it's only a temporary visit to the round world but there is another round figure I have my eye on for when I visit Sword & Lance next week. ;)
