Still a bit of basecoating to finish then all hands to the bench as they say

Nice WIP photos and I look forward to seeing your super project completed!

Question - Who made the 1903 ammo bandolier and the trench periscope? The periscope looks great!

It may be the photos or just my old eyes, but the ammo containers might be a bit too large. I may be 180 out so feel free to ignore this. I'm posting some references for your consideration. I thought I had something that gave the actual 1903 ammo pouch dimensions, but can't find it.

    All the best,
    Dan

    Hi to everyone ,

Thanks for comments guys..watch this thread as they say ...

    Dan ,

The periscope was done by Andy Cairns as was the bandolier , ref the size ..I have many pictures all looking slightly different but the guy in the blue shirt is a too close picture really when they are all together all looks good ( this was done by Steve Warrilow from The Fusilier) ...all are 1/12 th , slight variations but then we are all different!

Thanks for the pictures ..in my files!

This will be simmering away in the background while I finish my cavalryman!

Cheers to everyone for passing by

I told you that the ANZAC's didn't put their Shreded Wheat in their ammo pouches Kevin

Lots to do ..3 busts to paint !
