Scotty, I work by making a wire frame for the legs, drill and fit into the bottom of the torso, then the wire is shaped into the rough desired position, the "feet" end of the wire is then fitted into a drilled wooden block for stability whilst working on it, I then build up over the wire frame with Milliput making a rough human muscle structure, I then add again over the top with either Milliput or magic sculpt to "dress" the legs, all fine detail I sculpt in magic sculpt only. hope this helps....go on give it a go!
