    I remembered I had this one. Although I still think he would have a crown above the stripes! :)
    Also notice the inside wing of the jackboots are wrong. They should be rounded. The 1812 pattern boots are still worn.

    Thanks Martin for the picture,nice Rick Scollins illustration. I have this one on the back of a old Military illustrated magazine. I originally was going to portray John Shaw like in the illustration, but decided for me ,I wanted to portray him earlier in the battle on horse back with minimal wounds.

    Hey mate, wow! You have done heaps since I saw it last. Super work as always. I love the scollins illustration. He's always been such a huge influence on me. I may just have to attempt it. Keep it up I'm loving it.

    He's coming on lovely. I've been working on a figure of him for years but commercial work always gets in the way. This being the anniversary year , I'll have to get him finished!

    Hey Chris,Happy New Year mate. Thanks for the kind words,really enjoying the sculpting again, mainly been painting stock figures over the last year. In saying that I can't wait to get some paint on the figure. :)
