WIP Napoleonic Light Cavalry Officer

    A little work in progress ,Pegaso 75mm Base coat greens and trousers finished ,still wet so reflecting a lot of light.

    Red Palette : Base Colour ; Cad red , Cad red Deep 50/50 Highlights : Cad Scarlet , Cad Orange .
    Shading : Brown madder added to base colour

    It is a nice figure 75mm is my favourite scale ; great quality in the casting on this one ; French Napoleonic has always been my first love in modelling and the Pegaso 75mm series is the best value on the market IMHO :D

    This a little experiment with the green , after seeing PF Member Bailey's WIP Officer of the Guides , Re green Surcoat , ( trying to replicate what has been done in Acrylics with Oils :)

    Yes Barrie ! I thought it was a Hussar but turns out he is a line Chasseur officer and more likely an aid de camp with that fancy uniform , always thought line chasseurs were pretty plain re uniforms :)
