    I think I retrieved a potential disaster, there's more highlighting and blending required but I'll wait for it to be properly dry before going any further.

    Bravo Roger, I think you have reach the highest level with this flat, volume, a perfect use of color, light and shadow, all together work to obtain this realistic and beautiful result.

    Getting there. Almost forgot the buckle on the flying helmet. :eek: I also need to do some work on the lenses of the goggles. :confused:

    Oh yes mate......gorgeous.....love the flying helmet leather.....if I may suggest....just a few slight hi-lites on the top edges of the collar folds :wideyed:

    Roger, a catch light on each of the goggle lenses is all it needs mate. One of the few flats that doesn't actually look like a flat. Kudos to you.

    Cheers Tony. The goggles are the plan for today so I'll give that a go. I'm also going to deepen the shadows on the wool collar I think.
