Great marriage of talent in two fields. Shouldn't the cockade badge on the schirmmuetze be tri-colour? The model is missing the central red enamelling. No big but I only mention it in case it was overlooked.

It also seems to miss the little swastika in the eagle batch. if this is to be "political correct" I find it stupid as I believe historical correctness is more important. Just my feelings.

The swastika is very difficult to model it is litle than a millimeter. And who wants so you can paint it. ;)

    Hi Guys,

I like this certainly shows up the tiredness and he'll that was Stalingrad ...nice work on the face both in sculpting and the painting .....not sure though about the way the arm comes under the holster , probably take that back/away...personal viewpoint of course!

    Thanks for sharing

Sorry, but that I find a VERY weak excuse! I have plenty of 54mm figures, much smaller then this bust, which has the swastika sculpted in, and also other busts who have these (Alpine and Young miniatures are two brands that spring to mind. In these days where there is so much choice on what that spend our hard earned money, I think it's all but fair that we expect to receive the very best for our money, and that includes all details sculpted!

    Cheers,

    Gino

But, gentlemen, of course I meant with humor. On my work can also be found tinier details. See also other works. It's not an excuse. I watched the master photos. It took me about six months ago. I do not remember everything. I do not know exactly the photos to find out if there is or not. Is it possible that I forgot about it. But this detail is easily removed painting. And it's politically correct. : D:) But I'm sorry that you respond as follows.:( It looks like I would like to rob the money. Certainly not!
I am peaceful Ovečka / sheep. and not Robin Hood.
    Please take it as humor.

    Hi Palo,

By no means I inteded to offend you, or any one else. Just want to come up for our "rights" as customer. I do love La Meridiana, figures, accessoires and busts, no love lost there either. I just think that some honest critism from customers will keep any sculptor/company sharp. Painting by the great Danillo is breathtaking as always. Oh, and not for a moment did I think you were a robber ;)

    Have a nice evening,

It may be missing a tiny swaz but that is an easy fix...a flattened sphere of putty inside the wreath and four precise notches with a #11 blade. Thirty seconds work.

It's still a superb bust, one if the best I have seen. I even like the truncated arm.

is not maybe a political/law choice?....in some country rapresent the svastica is illegal...is dificult fro the picture to understand if the svastica is there and Danilo simply paint just a dots or is really missing.
