    Hi Brian,

Well mate, you've raised the bar for all of us. The concept is both creative and evocative. You've managed to bring tension and drama into this little scene. I can't wait to see the weathering of the trench groundwork and the painting of the figures. Viva La "Smudgerama"

Hi tony, thanks for your comments mate,I'm glad you're enjoying it,still have some more sittings to complete before the painting stage but hopefully not too long, the groundwork will just be the trench walls as these are busts I won't be adding anything under them,i will be adding something perhaps to the top,I have a few ideas in mind for this,I'm really enjoying your British tommy as well,I have this bust as well and it's a great piece, congratulations on yours, you have done a great job on him mate.

Very clever and very effective Brian. Like others I can't wait to see the work progress.
The skill will be in the balance between the trench walls and the busts, not easy but you're the guy who can do it.
    Cheers

Many thanks Del,i keep testing the parts but its very difficult to gauge the situation until the painting starts but its the poses that make it,so on first glance it wont be hard to figure out the story :)

Corking idea mate, I love the thought that's gone into this.
    Watching with great interest.

I'm wondering if shortening the separating wall might work better? To me it will give the impression that they are about to bump into each other. To me, as it is now it looks like two parallel trenches.

    Keep the pics coming,

A superb idea & a great way of putting both bust's onto the same base, it'll certainly tell a story, looking forward to seeing this come to life.
    Cheers(y)

Very good idea. Using only busts, and still creating this diorama tension is brilliant.
The creative idea of less is better is very well placed here. looking for worth to see it in color.
