I have tried several brands but the one i really like and i believe is the best is windsor & newton series 7, and it's quite pricey.
But it is a good investment.
What's new in you workbench my friend??

    Hello folks,
this past week worked on creating the base for the officer.
i liked the idea of base of the officer at the lort.
grabbed a base from another figure , cutted the tip of a plastic tool to resemble the port's tied base and used the string from a gift bag to create the ship's rope.
all and all i think it's getting where i want the little scene to be...
    best regards

Hi Pedro, it seems a little big, but i have seen some pics of few ports and ropes and it could probably pass for just a "fatter" than regular rope only.
unfortunately, some angles of the camera do not justify what it really looks in proportion when you see the figure/s live.
sometimes these cameras fool the eyes.
thanks for your input, i really appreciate your critique.

    HI Daniel,

Superbly done my friend. Your paintwork on such a large figure (for you, not me) looks really well detailed. For me too the base is a master touch.
    Great work,

You've got everything going on here, Daniel. The conversion, the painting, and the base - almost anyone would be happy to have this on their display shelf! Well done!
